Venue notes
Here's a few notes about the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center that will come in handy throughout the show.
- Gender inclusive bathrooms. Located 1) on floor three in the Ontario exhibit hall and 2) on floor 5.
- Quiet room. Available in Monet on the 4th floor during the following hours, with water, soft drinks, and a charging station. Thursday, 7:30-8:30 am Friends of BIll / 8:30 am-5:00 pm Quiet Room Firday, 7:30-8:30 am Friends of Bill / 8:30 am-12:30 pm Quiet Room
- Member lounge. A new feature of our trade show floor is a centrally-located member lounge, staffed by board members, featuring a charging station and a candy break. Visit the member lounge any time during show floor hours to talk to expert board members, get guidance on the show or bookstore operations, or just to take a seat.
- Chill zone. During the bus tours, board members will be “chilling out” in the lounge on floor 3 where the registration desk is located. Bus tour tickets are sold out, but if you want to visit stores, meet in the chill zone adjacent to registration at 9:15 am to form DIY store tours, especially if you have a car with extra seats for new friends.
- Ticket swap board. If you can no longer attend an event you bought a ticket for, visit the registration desk and post your available ticket on the ticket swap board.
